To keep your watch in its best condition, we recommend avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, cleaning products and extreme temperatures. While our watches are designed for everyday wear, we recommend removing your watch before swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping unless otherwise specified.
To clean your watch case, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive materials that may scratch the surface.
Leather Band Care
Leather is a natural material that will soften and develop character over time. To maximise the life of your leather strap:
Avoid contact with water, moisture and humidity where possible;
Remove the watch before swimming, showering or exercising;
Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions and oils;
Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
If your leather strap becomes wet, gently pat dry with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Do not use heat sources such as hairdryers or heaters.
Over time, natural ageing and wear of leather straps is expected and not considered a manufacturing fault.
Mesh & Link Band Care
Mesh and stainless steel link bands are durable and suitable for everyday wear, however regular cleaning is recommended to maintain their finish.
To care for your mesh or link bracelet:
Clean regularly using a soft cloth to remove dirt, oils and fingerprints;
For deeper cleaning, use mild soap with lukewarm water and dry thoroughly afterwards;
Avoid prolonged exposure to salt water, chlorine and chemicals;
Avoid impacts or rough surfaces that may scratch the finish.
If your watch has an adjustable mesh clasp or removable links, adjustments should be performed carefully to avoid damage.
Battery & General Maintenance
Most Christian Paul watches use a high-quality quartz movement powered by a button cell battery. Battery life may vary depending on usage and model.
We recommend replacing your battery through a professional jeweller or watch technician to ensure proper sealing and care of your watch.
If your watch is not functioning correctly, please contact our customer support team for assistance.
